Memphis Zoo is excited to announce a brand-new way to celebrate October. Zootoberfest will bring some German flair to the Bluff City. It will take place every Saturday and Sunday in October from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. excluding Halloween 10/31 but will continue on November 1st as the last day. Guests can purchase a commemorative Zoo stein to sip German beer from while they enjoy a fall afternoon at Memphis Zoo. Draft root beer and root beer floats will also be available to enjoy. Must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol.

The new event runs every Saturday and Sunday in October from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., excluding Halloween on October 31st. Zootoberfest brings a bit of Germany to the Mid-South. You can buy a commemorative Zoo stein for some German brews while enjoying a day at the zoo. And Mid-South breweries will have their specialty Oktoberfest beers available. And for those who prefer non-alcoholic drinks, there will be draft root beer and root beer floats.
